"Snow to Remember"
February 1st has always been my unofficial end to my winter (dormant) garden break which begins the first week in November. (Afterall, then there is Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then January—my GO* month!)
On the agenda this year is demolition and redesign! I am project manager for filling the swimming pool (not-so-lovinging known as the money pit!!) in my backyard and redesigning and renovating plantings.
Of course, I have perused numerous books and countless Web pages as I redesign my backyard. Several sites have helped me "get my head around" the concept of this project. And, so I will, of course, chronicle my backyard transformation via my blogs.
So, ready or not ... Have my gardener-designer hat on, creative ideas and a sense of adventure — ready to plan, demolish and redesign my backyard!
*GO is my two-letter way of communicating: get organized, get over-it!, go on, get open, guessing over (read: pick one and get started!!). January is my get-things-lined-out and GO month!
